The Ethiopian Training and Development Professionals Association (ETDPA) is actively engaged in enhancing the development, strength, and collaboration among Ethiopian Professional Associations. In the past, ETDPA has played a significant role in establishing and fortifying the Ethiopian Professional Association Alliance by creating bylaws and addressing related matters by its president Mesganaw Getinet.
Currently, ETDPA’s President Mesganaw Getinet initiate and encouraging other professional associations to collaborate with us in a consortium format. Today, we held a virtual meeting with leaders from various professional associations, primarily from the business sector and other fields. Participants included representatives from ETDPA, who facilitated the meeting, as well as Eden Wubalem from the Society of Accounting, Milion from External Auditors, Birhanu G/Micheal from the Ethiopian Business Advisory Service Providers Association, Yonathan Emiru from the Ethiopian Marketing Professionals Association, and Zegey Yohanss from the Ethiopian Mental Health Professional Association. During this initial meeting, we reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) prepared and distributed by ETDPA. The participating leaders agreed by the idea and working together on similar issues and take an assignment to discuss the MoU with their respective management teams for final approval in the upcoming week.
